I'm stuck between these two as a multi. Both seems to hit right where i want to be in terms of value/price. The only thing pushing me more to Animal Pak is that i can get 14 extra days packs over beverly's.

Another thing i haven't found out is if the Animal Pak is a pharmecutical grade multi. I've read alot about the super pak being outstanding in quality tho. Anyone have any info to share on this?

Something i've seen in a lot of animal pak reviews is the "engery boost" and neon piss. lol. Do they put anything harmful to give this energy boost that everyone raves about. I'm looking for a good multi not caffeine pills.

Also, would carlsons fish oil be a good match up with either of these multi's? I can't eat much fish. At least not yet. The taste is horrible IMO. lol

I don't know if Animal Pak is pharmaceutical grade, but I've seen several independent laboratory tests performed on their product and they all pass with flying colors so it's definitely on my list of "a-ok" multis.

I personally get headaches from Beverly, not sure which part of it is causing it, but the Vitamin D/E is also fairly high for what I want ... on the other hand, their new Ultra 4 product looks spot on, but is weaker than the Animal Pak.

The neon pee will happen with almost any quality multi but should only happen the first time after taking it ... with proper hydration, the others are fine.

I don't know Carlon's fish oil per se but if you go the Beverly route, their Vitamin D/E comes from fish oil so that's already in the Pak if I remember correctly.

Our multi-vitamin product, Multi-Plus, is specifically formulated for the resistance trained individual and is both high quality and reasonably priced.

Funny you mention this. I just posted the same question on another fitness board. PM me and I'll send you a link. Majority of people suggested NOW Adam vitamin. I wasn't aware that Atlarge had a vitamin, I'll have to check that out.

I haven't quite made the commitment to one of these big "Packs". I've switched to Beverly's Ultra-4, which is pretty reasonably priced at somewhere around $12 a month. It's 2 pills twice a day. I take a lot of fish oil (both liquid Carlson's and gels pills from Sam's).

Looking at NOW, it's similar in numbers to some stuff if you took it twice a day as the Ultra-4 like Beverly recommends.

and neon piss.

This is caused by an excess of vitamin B2. Don't worry about that- your body will take in what it needs and excretes the rest.

Do you guys take the Animal Pak on days off from lifting?

I'm thinking of taking a cheaper mutli V on such days. Is this likely to slow progress?

I just recently "upgraded" from Wal-Mart Equate brand vitamins to At Large's MultiPlus and their new Fish Oil. I take one of each 3 times a day, evenly spaced over 24 hours (so 6AM; 2:30PM; 8:30PM) every day.

I hope that is both correct and beneficial.

I take it twice a day regardless if its a training day or not. I figure since its a multivitamin my body would need all the nutrients daily anyways. Maybe taking 1 pack on non training days is ok but I've had good results on taking two a day rather than just one a day.
