View Full Version : n.o. xplode
jptaylor2 June 18th, 2007, 12:45 AM friend of mine gave me his last 10 scoops to try as he is going off cycle. i took 1.5 scoops about 25min before starting my workout tonight and, WOW. i could say that i felt more INTENSE but it may have just been excitement about trying something new. i will say this though, after about 10min in my system my veins were HUGE. i mean SUPER HUGE. my bracial artery that runs through my bicep is usually huge and visible as are the ones on my outer forearm and hands, the ones on the underside of my forearms are normally pronounced but more subtle. tonight they were HUGE, BULGING. i loved it. i may take this stuff all the time so they stay like this. seriously though even the veins in my calves were bulging. i had a great workout and couldnt tell you if it had anything at all to do with the xplode but i know that i just kept going and going to keep the veins pumped and watch them in my mirror wall.

hahaha
dude my friend has some and he said the same thing
be careful taking no xplode with other types of fat burners... the caffeine is everywhere..
cabster21 June 20th, 2007, 07:42 AM It does give me a kick, but I can't say I'm a huge fan. I had the orange flavour, and I think it's awful.

banderbe June 20th, 2007, 10:04 AM I get the feeling sometimes reading posts like this one that people are putting bodybuilding over health.
I mean, this no-xplode stuff just doesn't sound healthy. Seeing bulging veins makes me think one thing: high blood pressure. I'm probably wrong so set me straight.

I think the only thing in there that would raise your blood pressure is the caffeine. From what I understand, there is about 100mg of caffeine per scoop (about half a cup of coffee). You can adjust the number of scoops to your tolerance level.
I tried it for a bit, but I don't use it anymore because it never really did much for me.
jptaylor2 June 20th, 2007, 02:59 PM if anything it would make your bp drop. what the reaction does is dilate your vessels, by doing this you reduce the restriction of the flow thus reducing pressure. by working out you are effectively increasing your heartrate thus increasing pressure created by increasing the number of beats. im not saying that they counteract each other but they should lessen the effect. take this into consideration, i havent taken in caffiene since april of 1998. NONE. i have to be very careful because of the extreme amounts of caffiene in these products might overload my system. so far i havent had any adverse reactions to it.
droopy172 June 20th, 2007, 05:12 PM That's awesome I was gonna try an NO during my bulk but never plateaued enough to try it. I heard many of the same results but I also heard your body adapts to NO very fast and the awesome pump effect lasts for 2-3 weeks but who knows I never tried it.
chang June 20th, 2007, 06:17 PM I've used NO Xplode before and had mixed feelings about it. The first few times it felt as if I were on some sort of drug. That's how intense it was. The energy and adrenaline rush it gave me were ridiculous. The pumps were also great. However this was only the first few times. I noticed after the first few times, everything seemed to diminish. I was no longer getting that initial energy burst I used to, the pumps were ok. I found myself almost addicted to this stuff though, like in a bad way. And when I went to workout without it, my workouts didn't seem as good as when on the stuff which almost makes you feel like you can't workout without the stuff, which is when I dumped the rest and stopped taking it. I will probably never take this stuff again. The only REAL benefits I see from this are the pumps, but honestly, I really don't care about pumps that much. Sure it looks good and makes you feel good, but it doesn't last forever. You're better off buying some good quality creatine on it's own, and getting your energy from other food sources.

Be careful with this stuff,..It's powerful, and if you are in deed sensitive to cafiene, this will sure as heck, get you jacked,..but if your not heavy with your diet, you will overtrain yourself into a hole, as this type of product will make you feel like you have more reserves than you really do, and you won't be able to recover,...

MannishBoy June 21st, 2007, 04:28 PM I've never tried it, but before I did, I'd consider stuff like this (http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=05-018-feature), then would make my decision.

Interesting article. I didn't read the whole thing but I skimmed through it and got the just of it. I personally do think that NO supplements are pretty much a waste of money. The only real benefit I see to these supplements are the pumps. When would this be useful? Perhaps before a bodybuilding competition to make your muscles 'look' bigger? That's about the only real application I see to these types of products. For the average lifter though, it is really just a waste of money. A pump is just a pump, it goes away after a couple hours anyways. It's a false sense of acheivement, especially when your pump goes away, you're stuck thinking "man i look so small now". Then the next time you workout you'll keep wanting to acheive that super pump, which will lead you to want to take more and more of this shit in order to get that pump. That's where the addiction kicks in, at least it did when I experimented with it. Never again.
geobuilder June 21st, 2007, 09:48 PM I LIKE LEMON LIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great energy and pump, you do have
to cycle off after couple week to avoid tolerence.
