ive been bulking for 2 months rite now,do you think i should take some rest?if yes,how long?

I know that alot of people have these hard and fast rules about when to take time off, but I think it is best to listen to your body. Is your strength suffering? Are you lacking motivation in the gym? Do you have any nagging pain? etc. If so, then it might be time to take some time off. But I don't think that bulking for 2 months means that, by default, it is time to take a break.

Personally, if I start to experience any of the above, I'll take about a week off.

ok tnx guys ive got none of the probs you mentioned...so its a no rest for me..
the reason i asked is in my bulking guide,it says to take some rest after 8 weeks or something coz thts when your muscles grow!

I'm sure you muscles have grown at some point over the past 2 months and aren't just waiting for a "week off" to start growing ;)

You might not need to take a week off, but may want to "deload" for a week. Cut volume or cut weight. Say you are doing 4 sets of something, do 2 instead. Instead of 3 full body days, do two with a bit less volume.

Etc.
