What does yours look like? Mine is like this:

7 days a week LISS cardio for 45 minutes in the AM fasted.
Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed Weights in the PM

I am thinking of changing up my routine a bit and doing a Waterbury program, the Total Body one. He doesn't mention cardio, but I assume if I did that program, it would be something like this:

MWF HIIT
T,TH,S Weights

How many people lift weights in the PM,and do you think there is much difference? I had been because of my post workout meal that I eat in the evening, but perhaps I could rearrange things so I could have a PW meal in the AM if I lifted in the AM.

I have had quite good success, going from about 20% BF or so down to 12%. I am trying to get down to th 8-10% range, and am thinking that after doing the same thing for 16 weeks, a change may be in place.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd suggest lifting when you feel the strongest. For me, that's late afternoon. For some it's in the morning. Do what you feel good with.

I lift at lunchtime, and do my cardio late at night... but that's just me.

I like to do my light cardio fasted in the morning and lift in the afternoon. I tried lifting this morning, but nearly hurled. My body doesnt like morning lifts, even with food...

I usually lift in the afternoon. For cardio it depends on why I'm doing it. If I want to shed some fat, I will do it twice a day. I personally believe cardio is best first thing in the a.m., because your glycogen stores are empty and your body will go to its secondary source of energy...fat. In theory.

After a workout (where you also used Glycogen/ carbs)...your body will also be left to go to fat for fuel... Again in theory. I know a lot of people don't like the idea of this, as they believe I could do more harm than good, by breaking muscle down.

Though my take on it is, you would only get into the protein stores if you A.) Exhausted all your glycogen stores and B.) Also went through enough fat stored, that your body sensed it was going into starvation mode...not likely unless you were doing 5 hours of straight cardio. But again, this is what works for me. Not everyone. I can't lift in the morning, but don't find it too hard to get my ass on a bike.
