I was wondering what the women, or men I guess, of this forum think when it comes to armpits

First off...I hate armpits. They are a disgusting part of the human anatomy.

For women: I prefer if they are shaved.

For men: Shaving the armpits seems a bit feminine, but if a guy wants to shave them, I couldn't care less. And as a pre-emptive measure against all the offended male shavers....please recognize that this is purely my own arbitrary opinion.....

 For women I insist they are shaven

I trim mine to about an inch about once a month.

The title made me chuckle...

Women need to shave unless they are European, then they still need to shave.

My wife doesn't like it when my armpit hair is growing wild beyond my pits, i.e., sorta like a troll dolls hair, so I like to trim it every so often.

I put mine into cornrows when bulking, and shave them when cutting.

Everyone should trim -- at the least. Shaving them is generally a female thing, but I'm not going to hold it against you if you're a guy.

 What is it with Americans and this stereotype? I've lived in Europe all my life and have met only one or two women who didn't shave their armpits (or legs). The speedos thing, though? That is true (unfortunately), though the trend is going in the direction of trunks.

*shudder* I've now got a picture of all my childhood holidays that I would rather forget, thank god that skipped a generation!

As for armpits, trimmed for the gents!

As a married man I'd have to say it is of course the ladies choice when it comes to her own body, or I'd get my arse kicked

Women--shaved no other way.

Men--if you're under 40--trimmed. 40+...let it grow.....lol:tu: I can't imagine my dad trimming his pits. He still brags about his chest hair. I hate being hairy and he considers it a blessing. We'll never come to an agreement on this . . .

men need to realize that if they like it when we "groom" ourselves then they need to do the same. they should trim...everywhere.

What is the purpose of armpit hair? If I was really really rich I would get a skin graft and remove that horrible armpit skin and replace it with soft smooth nice skin that doesn't grow nasty armpit hair. I hate armpit hair.

I think it depends which part you live in when I went backpacking last year in France and Italy at the beaches and bars I noticed some hairy women not ALL were hairy but I did see more than what I usually see.

I find unshaved armpits on girls to be quite unattractive.
I keep my own down to one or two centimetres. I don't want to be in a tank top with my arms crossed and have people think I'm unsuccessfully concealing a pair of tribbles.

I lived in Germany for six years, and while some of the younger generation shaved, many didn't.... especially the older generation *ick*

I'm pro-shaving ;) oh.. and for the getting rid of pit hair... you can get the lazer hair removal now ;) I'm going to have to see how much it would be to do my armpits.. it'd be nice to not have to shave them :D

I trim as well. When was the last time you saw any kind of male model with a robin's nest under the arms? I know - the 70's :D

1-2cm is about max for me.

I sometimes will go with one of each... keeps 'em guessing.
