I joined JSF about a year ago (though I had visited before), but it was last june that I started eating healthy and doing some aerobics.
My second daughter was born June 22nd and it was hard to continue with exercice, but I always kept eating healthy.
Fortunately she's almost one year now and already started to sleep at night. That gives me more energy during the day and I have started swimming again (my favorite sport). I'm starting to swim like I used to many years ago now that I lost some weight (and I thought I was getting old and that was why I found it harder to swim, but the truth is it was the extra fat)
I still have a long way to go, but already lost 11 kilos (24 pounds). I weigh 84 Kgs now, bf about 20%, last year I was 95 kgs.
The best thing is yesterday I bougth two new pants. I went down two sizes (48 to 44). Those 44 look so much better on me, so much better. They don't give me the fat guy look, you know, when you wear a big size so it will fit your waist and then they are loose all over. The new ones fit so much better. I had almost forgotten how it feels to put some pants on that fit and look good. Not that I'm done yet, I still have a long way to go, but to see some results is really the best motivation.
I plan to start lifting soon and start making a real change. I took some pictures last summer, and will take some more when there is a sustantial change.
Thanks again John for this incredible job you're doing and also to all the forum members who are so helpful. Without all the information I got here, I doubt I could have ever made any change.
Pedro.
