Good day ladies and gentleman, I was wondering whether anybody could please provide some help and advice for me.

First off I am : 80kg (178lbs)
5"7 (167cm)
17 years old
In the region of around 20 percent body fat.

I recently started to get into shape around 4-5 weeks ago, by purchasing a set of weights, lifting 4 days a week and cutting the monumental amount of crap in my diet; the main difficulty is getting protein without loads of carbs on a vegetarian diet, I'm still consuming 2000 calories a day though.

I've spent the first month adhering to a program I just came up with myself, just to get used to the weights, ie correct form etc. The thing is my weight hasn't changed what so ever, although I've made gains in strength, and some muscle definition in my arms and legs.

Now that I've gotten used to my weights, I was wondering which program would suit me best for trimming down body fat.

The thing is, I have no access to the gym, but I do have a barbell and dumbells with 165 lbs of weight, and a chin up bar.

I'm not afraid of doing cardio, be it HIIT or anything for that matter, nor am I fretting about the intensity of weight sessions, in fact, the harder my workouts are, the more at ease I feel.

I've read all the stickies and done quite a bit of research into most things about cutting, bulking, and fitness in general, and I do know that nutrition is first and foremost, I was just wondering which program would be suitable for someone such as myself.

Thanking you in advance.

I would recommend Tom Venuto's Burn the fat feed the muscle program ( hell of a book ) :
www.burnthefat.com (http://www.burnthefat.com) .

To see visible progress you got to give it time ( couple months ) . Asumming you're on the correct track : nutrition, weight training and Cardio.

Will take a look at it, to be honest I'm not worried about my aesthetics, I'm just interested in becoming an exceptional athlete, a finely tuned engine if you will. That's my goal.

Thanks :tu:
