View Full Version : Is it possible to figure out end body weight?

The last time I did my online body fat percentage it was about 12.5%.
I weighed 155lbs.
I hope to eventually get down to 8% body fat.
Assuming that I dont suffer too much lean muscle loss, can anyone tell me what overall weight I would be with 8% bf ?
Dont know if there is a formula to that, or if its just plain math .

155 x 12.5% = 19 lbs fat, 136 lbs lean

So, assuming you want to keep 136 lbs of lean, if your body fat goal is 8% then it means your "lean" percentage will be 92% (100% - 8% = 92%).

136 / 92% = 148 pounds

So you would need to drop about 7 pounds on the scale.
