It was a catchy name, so I had to use it.
But, I'm working on coming up with this (though it's probably already been done and perfected. But, the idea is to
1.) find a way to eat cottage cheese without feeling like I just ate chunky milk,
2.) Add a significant source of protein to my diet to bump my numbers up and
3.) to have a 'treat' that's not bad for me and accomplishes all these goals.
What I was thinking was a pudding, something like:
1/2 cup Cottage cheese (zero fat)
1 scoop chocolate whey
1/4 packet of Zero fat chocolate jell-o pudding mix.
Some milk to make it more like pudding.
Blended
I figure that should give about 13g protein from the cottage cheese and 25g (if my memory serves me correctly) protein from my drink mix.
It would accomplish all three of my goals, boasting an impressive 38g protein with every helping! Also low in carbs, low in fat.
The totals would have to be adjusted (As I actually haven't tried making it yet)
I was also thinking of adding ground flax seed to bump up the fat content in my diet (as I'm still at about 10%), but that would be an individual change.
Anyone ever tried it? Thoughts?
