hello all, I used to be a very athletic person in triple a basketball league. I havent had ANY exercise in 1 year about and I don't go to school anymore cuz im finishing it online. My mom just bought a treadmill with sensors and everytime I check my pulse is 150-200 whats up with that!?

But when I use my hand it goes from 80-100 either way thats pretty bad. I tried running too and can't even do 10 minutes at 6kmh anymore. All the people with 60 and under rest , whats your ideal areobic per day. I used to run suicides 60m dashes to improve my speed and twitch muscles and didnt jog alot. I wanna lower my heart rate to at least 60 within the next 4 months.

I know I shouldn't over due it, but what do you guys think of 30 minutes a day at 6km 5 days of the week? right now I'm doing a pitiful 10 minute and will add 5 minutes ever 1-2 weeks and might go to 1 hour.

That is a disease known as tachycardia. I would definitely see your doctor - high resting heart rate can have many negative consequences, and should be addressed by a healthcare professional!

yikes, I think the machine is wrong ive measured using my neck wrist and even putting my hand on my chest and its been exactly 88 hbp thank god, so how do I get my resting rate back down to my athletic health, is a 1 hour 6kph 5-6 days a week adequete? I'm gonna start at 15 minutes a day though and eventually build up, whats your routine?
