Searching through the forums, I recently found a reccommendation on where to purchase supplements in the UK. Certainly (what appears to be the market leader) Holland & Barrett lacks variety and value.
But www.sportsnutritionx.co.uk isn't the answer either. I found that it takes payment itself (rather than use a third party payment company), and, crucially, doesn't implement encryption when taking credit card numbers. Being a computer security geek, I can tell you that it is really not a good idea to go sending your credit card no in plaintext over the net.
This led me to discover www.1st4supplements.co.uk
Not only is the site more secure and user-friendly, the prices are considerably cheaper too - 2.5kg of 90+ whey cost £31.99 with free postage, compared to £35 plus some £5 p&p at sportsnutritionx. I got my package within 4 days, from memory.
The only downside is the apparent focus on bulk buying - they don't stock any smaller sizes of this particular product, and I suspect it may be the same for others. I guess it would pay to check you like it first!
Oh, hi, by the way, I'm new!
