I think what this board stands for is great and I'm currently in the process of changing myself for the better. However, when I first joined I received this Private Message:

"Sorry to bother you.. I just read the thread you posted about finding a good workout routine.IMO the best thing you can do it contact Olesya Novik over at T-Nation. She is a NPC Figure Competitor and she helped me a ton.You can post on the forum or just PM her. I saw your thread and had to say something because I am about the same age and was the same bodyfat% when I started working with her. Here are my before and after pictures that I posted on T-nation :

I wish you nothing but the best of luck in getting back on track.... it took me forever to figure out how to even begin. If I can help in any way, please let me know!

I can't imagine this is something you guys want on your board. Just thought I would bring it to someone's attention.

This board stands for helping you to find the means to reach your fitness goals. It doesn't sound like the private message you received is against what this board is about.

If you have questions about board policy, or concerns about spam, it's probably best to contact the board administrator privately.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the PM you were sent. A person has every right to inform you of things that worked for them, even if that's a particular fitness consultant. A good amount of the posts on these forums are such testimonials.

I suppose it does seem strange at first glance. IMO, the person who sent you the PM sounds sincere with his advice and personal experiences using a trainer.

I personally don't see any problems with the information he provided in that link. It's your choice on what you do with this information. I have found so much useful material at T-Nation over the past few years. I only wished I found the site sooner rather than later in my fitness journey. Bookmark the site, I guarantee you will be using it in the future. ;)

I apologize then for having posted this. I was just under the impression that this was a spam type PM since the sender had 0 posts and has been a member since '06. It won't happen again. I suppose this thread is pretty much irrelevent and should be deleted. Sorry for the confusion.

I apologize then for having posted this.

I don't think it was a bad idea to post it. I wouldn't have thought anything nefarious if I had received the PM but if I saw this post and found 50 other people had received the same message I'd be annoyed with the spammer.

Good job lookin' out. Happy to see that it just turns out to be another JSF'er sharing experience and advice. :tu:

I noticed the same thing.

Weird.

Perhaps it was just a big Olesya fan. :p
