I have been working out for about three months now and have lost 15 pounds so far.... I am currently about 5"10 155 pounds.... however my muscles and not as hard as I would like them to be and I still have slight gyne which really pisses me off.... I posted my pics about a month ago.... I was wondering if anyone has tried ZMA as a way to get harder faster?! pro's, cons?!

Please let me know... I am looking to try it

Right now I do 2-3 all the whey a day and a multivitamin.... tried glutamine but I would wake up in the middle of the night wanting to run around the block 15 times...

Thanks let me know

I don't see how glutamine gave you energy...?

Sounds to me like you are cutting...?

anyway - I used ZMA for a couple months while bulking.
I found I slept really well, and had vivid dreams.
(aparently it is a known side effect)
I can't say how much ZMA affected my gains.
The time when I was taking ZMA was among the time when I made my best gains, but it was also early on in my training when "newbie gains" would have been peaking; so I can't say if ZMA was a contributing factor.

ZMA. Zinc Magnesium asparatate, used to support natural testosterone levels. The average person probably doesn't need it because it doesn't boost the levels of hormones in your body, it just makes sure your body has enough to maintain its normal level.

That being said, if anyone had a zinc/magnesium deficiency and didn't know it, they would very likely experience a performance gain.

Some people like to take it to help them sleep, as the absorbtion of minerals acts as a natural sedative..sort of. Also, many company include herbs like valerium and the like, since ZMA is a pre bedtime supplement.

Anyways, I took it, not worth it for me.
