Okay! So I'm currently cutting and eating a LOT healthier than I used to eat and I feel GREAT about it! I used to eat a lot of pizza and sweets, captain crunch ( damn...so good ) for breakfast, pastrami sandwhich for lunch, fried rice and beef for dinner...but now its more like..

Kashi go Lean with frozen blue berrys + 2% milk

Oatmeal and 1/2 cup egg white omelet or turkey and ham sandwhich on wheat

post work out protein shake with skim milk

chicken breast + 1 cup mixed veggies ( broccoli, carrots... )

Late night protein shake or 1/2 cup cottage cheese + 1 tbsp Nat PB.

Looks good right? problem is, all this food only adds up to an average of about 1400-1600 calories. I calculated how much food I should eat to lose 2 pounds of fat, and its 1700. Some people here would reccomend I should eat MORE! But see...I CAN'T eat more because I'm really really satisfied with what I'm eating already. Like...I'm never feelings like I need more food, I'm just perfectly satisfied even though it may be too much of a calorie deficit. Will this affect my fat loss at all? Should I force myself to eat more or what? This doesnt put me into starvation mode does it? Because I read somewhere on this forum that the starvation mode thing is totally bogus unless someone is eating like...ONLY bread and water, otherwise its fine. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're still pretty young aren't you?

I'm 18, does my age have anything to do with my eating habbits? Hey, by the way, dluc, my older brother is losing weight too and he takes his inspiration from your pictures because you look almost exactly like him. But yeah, I'm 18. I got the freshman 15 but proudly lost it!

I would have been more concerned if you were undereating during your growth years. I still think you should boost calories a tad:)

I'm flattered that your brother found inspiration in the pictures. Since we look so alike, he must know what it's like to fight off the ladies:lol: Seriously though, I hope he really sticks to it and improves himself!

But yeah, I'm 18. I got the freshman 15 but proudly lost it!

Nice:tu:

It's pretty easy to add a few calories. Eat a handful of nuts. Not very many are needed to reach 300 calories.

I don't know how big or active you are but 1400-1600 calories is very low for somebody your age.
