Hey all! I can't remember what, if anything I posted here on these forums about the reason for my 5 week break but i assure everyone that it was unavoidable.
My wife was in the hospital for over a month pregnant with twins. She During that time I was basically a single parent. If you don't know how hard that is, trust me when i say, IT'S HARD! Every morning I had to wake up an hour earlier than normal just to get my son ready so I could take him over to my mother's house while I go to work. After work, I would either go visit my wife or come home and pick up my son. Of course that all depended on whether someone else could watch my son to releive my mother. But I wasn't able to do any cardio, weight training, or food preparation during this time because if I did, it would mean no time with my son and my son is more important.
Well, the twins were delivered last monday, the 26th of March. They were 34 weeks when they were born but they both are very healthy and still doing great. Now that we're all back home and my wife's recovery is virtually done, I can get back into the swing of things. But, this time around my goals are different.
While my wife was in the hospital I traded all my car audio equipment for paintball equipment. Selling my stuff initially was a bit premature and I regreted it ever since. So i got new tuff and decided to get back into the tournament scene. So, my goal is to still lose as much fat as possible, but once I lose the fat I will be on a performance oriented workout plan. Things like sprints, stairs climbs, sled pulls, speed drills, etc., etc..
I weighed myself in the hospital with multiple scales and it was 208. I am confident that it may be less though because it was at the end of the day while i had all my clothes on. I'll update soon with more accurate information.
