I have one take-out place that I like that I eat at maybe once or two times a week for soup. It is basically a beef and rice noodle soup. I'm not sure if the noodle type is white or brown. I need to find that information out. What concerns me more is the Sodium Content.

Almost 3,000mg of Sodium per serving ...

Should I be concerned about that much? I've read some articles on Salt and Sodium and the importance of a 1:1 ratio with potassium, however, they do not speculate as to what is too much sodium.

I believe the sodium-potassium ratio is most important and actually you should get some more potassium than sodium ... but 3,000 is extremely high. If you have a regular habit of eating that, you may have cause for concern unless you're extremely active and train intensely for more than a few hours every day.
