No...only do three from a given number in any one workout.

I was kidding. But as a teenager I would do something like that page for arms, 2-3 sets worth on Sunday, that night I couldn't comb hair, couldn't raise my arms above head next day. I believed in volume over quality, pump over fibers.
Tri sets came out of Weider lab, a closet in New Jersey about 1957. He had writers turn out workouts each month in his 5 or 6 magazines. They had to come out with something, like the net today. Like a blind hog they found an acorn every so often. They aren't bad to shock things.
