Ok...I've been in the gym for several years, and I've finely figured out my goal. I want to gain an extra 15-20 lbs of muscle, and also be very lean. But I want the muscle to work for me. I want to train to be an athlete...I want to run faster, jump higher, and be able to do everything better than I can now. I just don't want to gain lean mass and get "bigger", I want it to work for me.

The problem is, I don't know how to train that way. I don't want to gain 15-20 lbs of muscle and be slower or less athletic. I know gaining lean mass takes time, and I'm going to put in the time to do it. I just want to know I'm on the right track day in and day out.

Does anyone know what a good program for my goals are? My goal physique is Abdominator's...but my physique is not my main goal. I PMed him but haven't heard back yet....

Hi Jason, I can't say much about training for your "muscles to work for you", but hopefully somebody else can help you out on that one.

Skippy's physique is great, but sadly, I haven't seen him around these boards in a while. You might have a better chance of reaching him here (http://www.skippypodar.net/).
