I am amazed. Since my alimentary habits have been quite randomic for more or less one full year, I grew this little stomach (although being basically very very thin) which I thought I could easily get rid off.

So I went to (like I did in the past with perfect results and no suffering at all) a zero carb'n'fat diet for all the week. Except for Saturday, when I allow myself to wild food consumption, during the week I eat nothing more than salad, fish, a coffee in the morning and a tea before sleeping.

Not only: 5 days a week I do 25 minutes HIIT a day.
Well, nothing. The fat is staying there. The lower part of my stomach keeps being fatty. It's expecially noticeable when I bend...

Any hint?

One week is not enough time to see a visible reduction in your gut. Also a "zero carb zero fat" diet is absolutely terrible. That will not help you lose any weight. Read marcus's sticky post at the top of the nutrition forum, that will tell you all about what you need to be eating to lose weight. You are on a dangerous path, I strongly suggest you read up and take to heart that maybe you don't know as much as you had hoped.

Yeah, one week is definately not enough time to see any results.

And yeah, change your diet.

Ahem. That's what I do in ONE week, but I've been doing that for MONTHS.

I agree that a zero carb diet is bad. Of course it is, as a zero fat or zero protein would be, balance is important and I know that. Yet, I wonder how without any carb and doing HIIT, still I can't see any kind of result, be it good or bad.

See, I am still perfectly healthy, and the stomach still stays there. No changes at all.

If you've been doing it for months, it's your diet. It sounds awful. How many cals do you usaly consume in a day?.

If you've been doing it for months, maybe you're body has adapted and is no longer shocked by this diet. Just a thought...

I actually read your post instead of scanning it, and it looks like you're body is being starved. Prove me wrong and do and post a calorie count and nutrient count.

(Answering also to Zamboni) I don't know how many calories I eat... or how many I consume. I never tried to compute such informations, I only know that right now I am not doing any sports, weight lifting, practically nothing. Also, my job is extremely static and I sleep a lot. I could say that sexual activity is my the only physical activity I perform! Of course I wouldn't dare such a diet in other conditions. Two times in the past the same habits allowed me to drop any trace of fat...

Anyhow: in the morning I drink some fruit juice and a 125gg yogurt. Later I have a coffee with half a teaspoon of sugar. My lunch always consists of a salad with mixed fish, or some white meat with boiled vegetables. As for dinner, I either eat tuna fish, some vegetables and fruit, or (sometimes) nothing.

goto www.fitday.com and add up your totals, my guess is that you arent eating enough
it looks as though you are basically starving yourself, which is no way to lose fat, good way to lose muscle though!

Here we go:
cals 1060
fat 58
carb 61
prot 75

I can't compute in inches very well... but I think I am more or less 5''8, for a weight of 65 kilos. Seated job, no workout.

no wonder you cant lose that last bit of fat, you arent eating enough!

you should eat AT LEAST 1500 calories, i would strongly suggest you join a gym, then up the calories to 1800

right now your body doesnt wanna let that fat go because it thinks it needs it to survive, and its going to be getting rid of your muscle because muscle burns energy, and lots of it! which isnt good in a time of starvation, so it will kill off the stuff thats burning the most energy (and that you dont REALLY need) and try to conserve precious fat to keep itself alive, and warm!

if you eat more and workout, you should see that fat go away, take a look at johns logs (not at the start) and you can see he was eating 1700cal's a day to cut, just look how ripped he is, proof you dont need to starve yourself to get awesome results

So be it then, I'll move to a higher calories diet trying to stay low on carb anyway (maybe adding a meat meal and another minimeal in the afternoon-evening).

As for training, I suppose HIIT is still the best for my purpose, am I right? 25 minutes per day, 5 days per week, should be ok, but please still suggest me what to do.
