To make the post-workout meal fairly high in fats content?

I'm not talking about the PWO "shake" which would be ingested right after the workout, but rather..the first meal consumed after a workout which would be about an hour later.

My theory is:- Testo spikes during workout but falls off rapidly temporarily after workout.

Now diets that have higher fat produce more Testo (in men, but not women..just in case you're wondering,Justitia...and by the way, products like Testostrogain and Tribulus do not work for women because
they act upon Testicular cells...end of story.)

So wouldn't a meal higher in fats PWO help bring the Testo level up?

Like say....salmon and eggs or beef and eggs or beef, eggs, fish?

Or eggs and cheese etc.?

I've heard that fats slow protein digestion, which might be a good thing for the PWO meal because you took care of the need for fast assimilation with the earlier PWO Whey shake.

I've been having success without carbs PWO also, as well as a carb + fat meal PWO twice a week. Basically I've got 10-14g healthy fats in every meal now...keeping everything nice and slow, and I haven't seen any muscle loss (I'm cutting.)

I think this is more of a chronic effect, whereby a diet that is rich in monounsaturated and saturated fat is associated with higher average levels of T . Conversely, some studies show that there is a temporary reduction in T after eating a single high-fat meal.

Actually, that is not quite true. Tribulus stimulates the production of the leutinizing hormone, which in men, acts on leydig cells of the testes to produce testosterone. Women also produce the leutinizing hormone but obviously not in their testes.. ;) but from the pituitary gland. There are just starting to be studies connecting the production of LH (Lutinizing hormone) and the production of testosterone in women, though more in the reverse concern. Women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) tend to have higher LH levels and exhibit more masculine characteris such as hirsutism.

So in fact there is the possibilty that Tribulus will work for women. Less scientifically controlled studies suggest that Tribulus may work to increase testosterone in women but it is not clear yet.

I have purchased Tribulus (because of my post-menopausal decreasein tetosterone production) but not tried it yet because I have not had sufficient physical stability over the last 14 months to be able to observe its effects. I have been prescribed testosterone cremes but I do not like using them as they increase my appetite inordinately.
