I've been planning this for awhile. It was supposed to start 2 weeks from now, but I feel like cutting as soon as possible since the muscle I'm gonna add in those 2 weeks is probably going to be minimum as my body fat is high already. So, I've been recently deciding between my old way of cutting, which is moderate diet, with cardio and weight training; and go with Waterbury Summer Project with T-Dawg with little of my modification to the diet. After pondering for awhile, I realized that the reason I even considered WSP and T-Dawg is that T-Dawg diet has a free all you can eat cheat meal in it. Ehhh, I decided that's a stupid reason to do it. Also, from running with my friend yesterday, I realized that I lost a lot of endurance from neglecting cardio for awhile. I don't like that. Although what I care the most about is how I look, I still love having endurance. Also, adding cardio makes my skin look a lot cleaner.

Okay, enough with introduction. Here's my cutting plan. This cut will last 8 weeks. For cardio, I'll start with 20minutes a day fasted walking on treadmill at an incline. Every week I'll add 5 minutes until I reach 45minutes. Once I reach 45minutes, I'll probably keep doing that as long as I keep making progress. If I somehow plateau at that point, I'll think of something then. Oh, btw, for Saturday and Sunday, the cardio won't be fasted since my gym doesn't open early enough. For those days, I'll just avoid carbs before the cardio session.

For weights, I'm doing a two day split, lifting 4x a week. For the split, I'll group Chest, Shoulder, Triceps, Abs; and Legs, Back, Biceps, and Calves. My exercise sections will be mostly compounds with a little isolation for muscle groups such as triceps and biceps. I'll lift Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

For my nutrition, I'll do carb cycling. My high carb days will be Sunday (this day will probably have a cheat meal sometimes, which is one of the reasons why it's a high carb day), and Thursday. My low days will only have under 100g of carbs, rest of calories coming from protein and fats.

For supplementation, I'll be using Methoxy, Xtend, Hot Rox Extreme, Creatine, Fish oil, Multi-Vitamin, ZMA and Protein Powder. Methoxy and Xtend will be only for a period of time though as I'm just using them since I have them left. Once I run out, I'm not getting any since I probably don't even need them. You see, I'm working on to becoming a supplement minimalist since they cost so much:p . Hot Rox will keep my appetite suppressed. Since I'm somewhat sensitive to stimulants, I'm going to start with only 2 pills a day and slowly increase them to tolerance. Creatine, I just have a tub left and thought I might as well use it up. ZMA, well.... I just have a bunch of them left. I just thought I'll use them up. Protein Powder is so I can have a meal replacement at school in between classes and also for peri workout nutrition. For protein powder, I'm using Nitrean. Oh, and when I run out of Xtend, I'm going to consume Nitrean before the fasted cardio instead of Xtend. As for multi and fish oil, well, they're self explanatory.

Well, here I go!!!

I finished planning this cut today. As some of you see, my last post was posted like a minute ago. So, basically, I start this cut tomorrow. Well, anyways, here's what's been going on. Yesterday and today wasn't very good in food choice wise. Yesterday, I woke up, ate some brown rice, chicken, and veggies, watched TV, ate oatmeal, eggs, and something I can't remember. I then went to the gym with a friend but didn't lift since I already did the day before. So anyways, after that, I went to eat some Japanese food at the mall. We chilled for a bit, met up with some other friends and ate burgers and fries at the mall. We then watched the movie 23. For anyone interested, you all should see it. It's craaaazy. Today's food wasn't good either. So far, I had oatmeal, some mangoes, protein shake, 3 doughnuts :o , and some chinese food at the mall:doh: . Oh well, the cut starts tomorrow anyways. I'm going all out tomorrow.

Until then...

Holy crap, 20minutes of LISS was hard! Haha, seriously, I haven't done cardio in awhile and even 20minutes of walking 3mph on max incline was a challenge this morning. It was so difficult that I promised myself that after this cut, I'm going to keep doing cardio at least 3x a week for 20minutes just to keep my cardiovascular shape up. PM weight training was great. I felt weak at first for some reason but energy came out of nowhere after I finished first set of bench. During weight training, I changed my mind and decided to keep my full body weights 3x a week instead of splits. I really enjoy total body workouts compared to splits. They're more challenging and less boring to me since I get to work various muscle groups in workout. Oh, yeah, today's not over but this is what I will have had today once the day is over.

Supplementation:
Biotest Methoxy: 8 caps
AST Multi Pro 32x: 2 caps
AST Micronized Creatine: 5g
Biotest Flameout: 6 softgels
Biotest Hot Rox Extreme: 2 caps
Biotest ZMA: 3 caps
Xtend: 8 scoops

Nutrition:
Nitrean: 60 grams
Dextrose: 50 grams
Flaxseed Meal: 60 grams
Chicken Breast: 120 grams
Broccoli: 9 servings
Natural Peanut Butter: 32 grams
Egg Whites: 9

Fat: 37.7g (25%)
Carbs: 105g (30%)
Protein: 157g (45%)
Calories: 1305

Yea.... Low on calories but this is what DietPower set me for. My plan is to drop 18 pounds in the next 8 weeks. No, I don't expect to drop 18 pounds of pure fat. I expect some of that to be water weight from the low carbs. Due to the low carbs, I should be approximately a pound or 2 pounds lighter tomorrow. That will make DietPower set a new higher calorie intake for me.
