I've read a thread here about this topic but I haven't found an opinion about the relevance to my situation.

I take a kickboxing class around 8:30p.m. and don't get home until 9:45 p.m. Then I eat dinner. I go to bed around 11:00-11:30 p.m. I won't eat before b/c I'm afraid the workout will be too intense for my stomach and I'll vomit. Is THIS eating too late? Since I've started running in the morning (around 6:00 a.m.) I will eat some starches/carbs to give me the boost to run in the morning. Anyay, is eating a regular dinner (i.e. meat/veg/starch) bad after a cadio based workout and only 1.5 before bed?

Thanks!

Hey,

Your kickboxing class is at 8:30, why not eat at say 6, 6:30PM. Those 2 hours should really be enough and you could just decrease the amount of food if it's a real problem. After you work out I'd suggest a protein shake and some fruit, or cottage cheese, or any simple carbs with protein. Hope this helps.
