I figured this page would be a good start/point of reference for those who do not weigh or measure their food to use in determining how much a portion of "X" food is compared to real-life common objects.

Interesting to compare the portion of typical-sized bagels and muffins to a typical size donut.

Excellent guava! Hopefully more contributions can be made and this thread can be sticked or hyperlinked as a reference for beginners (or anyone who may not own or need to travel without a scale and measuring devices)
