I’ve been taking thyroid medication for the last three or four months. The doctor told me to take it before breakfast and then to wait an hour before eating (since many things interfere with its absorption). Since I workout in the mornings, I’ve been doing my resistance training on an empty stomach. I’ve been able to get through them without feeling faint, but am I stifling any progress by not eating a pre-workout meal? Exactly how much “damage” am I doing?
