Ok,
I haven't been around for awhile. I was doing really good on my diet and then I came to college and got back to what I weighed before.

I currently weigh 210 and I want to get to 185. So my question is do i eat like i weigh 185 or how do i go about getting there.

I'm starting my weight training. I'm going to be easing my way back into lifting by riding a bike for 15-30 minutes depending on if i lift that night and the Max-OT starter. I'm hoping to get get through the 9 week pre workout and start on the HIIT and Max-OT program after 9 weeks.

I'm a college student and don't have alot of cash but was going to try to eat really health. What % of P,C, and F should I be consuming.

Thanks
Chris

The stickies have information on diet and the BMR method for determining calories. You might use that method. There is a good calculator (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/)you can use also.

40C/40P/20F is popular but there are many ratios out there. plan on eating 5-6 times a day, good healthy food. Drink plenty of water. Have a good weight training program. Max-OT works for many.:bb:

Eat the calories for your current weight.

a good primer would be 2500 cals and adjust from there....

if you lose too much too fast bump it up a 100-200 cals a day...not losing at all ...reduce by same amount

and we dont need to ease back into the lifting...get in there and lift..you go to college so you have a weight room right??...

what time can you lift...try and take in your starchy carbs early in the day and pre post lifting..all other times stick to the green veggies...

ive found that lifting in the am about an hour or 2 after breakfast works well..gets the metabolism going and starts the day off with a win..
why not start of on a 40/40/20

The 40/40/20 will work good. My main question was about how to lose weight and gain mass at the same time. I was confused about how i should go about getting to the goal weight. I'll work on the 2500 calories a day. Shouldn't be hard.

My workout consist of night workout cause of work or classes. But I'll start working out in the AM. I was thinking i should cardio in the AM and lift at night.

Once I get into my main lifting which will be after Spring Break. I'm going to start a schedule. I've been thinking of one for awhile.

My next question what are starcky carbs...
