Well, if you are having a spoonfull of flax oil before cardio then it is no longer fasted cardio. You are ingesting ~145 calories. If it is low intensity steady state, I would just stick with fasted. However, add flax in throughout the day because I DO believe that it helps with fat loss if you are in a calorie deficit. I think this is especially true on a lower carb or nutrient timing diet.
