Here are the progress pics from my ~12week bulk. Not the greatest pictures, but I think you can see the change. 6'0" and Pre-bulk weight: 231lbs & Post-bulk weight: 235lbs. Right now I am 3 weeks into my cut with a 2400cal (500cal daily deficit) and a boat load of weekly cardio (cross-training: bball, running, swimming, biking, skiing). I am also training for my first triathalon, which is in less than a month (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) So the next 8 weeks should for sure yield some increased muscle definition. IIRC the pre-bulk pics were me flexing somewhat, but the post pics are no flexing

I think your body fat was too high for a bulk. I'd say around 20% for pre and post.

Agreed, and with such a small change in weight, 4lbs I think, this wasn't really a bulk. It would be better to cut down to at least 12% bodyfat before bulking. Good luck with your cut, and triathlon :)

I think there was some good mass put on your upper back, and a cut will do you good in revealing it (and other things) more.

I'm with the others here. I'll bet you put on some muscle, but it's hard to tell with the fat covering it up. If you did build muscle, it will make it easier for you to cut.
