I have been reading through the forum trying to learn as much as I possibly can. I really need to lose unwanted fat. I am about 6' tall about 260lbs, 32 age. Currently I only exercise maybe once or twice a week for 30 minutes(cardio) & have horrible eating habits. I am currently working on creating my diet plan. I was going to start with six meals daily at about 400 cal each. for a total of about 2400 calories per day & Also going to increase exercise to weightlifting 3 times per week minimum and cardio 3 times per week minimum. I was wondering is this a good start or should I increase or decrease the calories.

Thanks

I agree with rtestes here.
You've admitted to yourself and to us that you have aweful eating habits. That must change immediately. GET GOIN'!!

I have often made the mistake of trying to spend all kinds of time formulating a plan and doing the "I'll start after the weekend..." and that sort of thinking doesn't ever work. Fitness is a progression...always move forward...make simple changes and make continual changes until you are on the right track! GOOD LUCK!
