These are great for when you have a chocolate attack and need something. Makes about 2 cookie size amounts, or just eat the whole thing right out of bowl (that is what I do).

Put 1 scoops (30 grams) of Chocolate Protein Powder in a bowl. I use: Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate (http://www.vigorousliving.com/op100whey5lb.html)

Add 1 tablespoon (5 grams) Pure Cocoa powder (http://www.verybestbaking.com/products/tollhouse/baking_nutritionals.aspx#cocoa)

Add 4 packets of Splenda (http://www.splenda.com/page.jhtml?id=splenda/products/packets.inc)

Add 1 cup (40 grams) of Quick Oats (http://www.quakeroatmeal.com/qo_ourProducts/quakerOats/product.cfm?productid=1)

Add 2 Tablespoons (32 grams) of Natural Peanut butter (http://www.smuckers.com/fg/peanutbutter/default2.asp?groupid=2&catid=11&prodid=107)

Slowly add water as you stir - want a gooey non-runny mixture.

You can microwave for about 20 seconds, or you can cover and let sit in freezer for 2 to 5 minutes, or you can just eat it as it is (I do).

This is great stuff

Cals = 495 Cals
(you can cut PB and/or Oats into 1/4, 1/2 or 1/3's if you want to lessen the Cals)

p/c/f/ = 33/27/40

Hope you enjoy,
BW

Let me know what you think. I think they get as close as you can without making them with the sugar, milk, vanilla and butter. Also, some of you may know them as cow pie cookies?

They're "No-bake" cookies in my Mom's part of the world.:)

Sounds delish

Good and easy to do. It is made from high quality products that are needed by the body - Protein, Complex Carb and good fat. It is quick and easy and satisfies a craving for chocolate that a lot of people have.:D
Order of importance: :eat: :bb: :jumping:

I make something similar, but I also use Kashi Go Lean Cereal. Gives them a little more texture and fiber :)

I made an improvement to the taste. I added 5 grams of pure cocoa powder and 6 packets of Splenda. Very nice. it only adds about 15 cals, but the taste is great!!! :tu:
