Hey, does anyone happen to have recipes or ideas for foods that I can prepare in less than 5 minutes? I need to be able to take some sort of sandwhich type thing to school or anything with protein in it so I can eat it at school. I was told that one solution would be to boil 2 chicken breast and cut it up and put it in tuperwear that is always accessible to me. That way in the mornings I can just get some chunks out and make like a chicken breast sandwhich or something? If anyone thinks this is a good idea, gimme some suggestions that can make the sandwhich taste good and moist. I always will sometimes make Peanut butter and banana sandwhiches too.

Also, what do you guys think about pre-sliced deli meats for sandwhich meat?

It doesnt have to be a sandwhich solution for my meals at school, but something that I can prepare very fast and will be healthy for me. Thanks!

Sliced turkey is a pretty good choice in my opinion, but just make sure you check out the nutrition info on any potential meats before you buy. You also have to decide how it would fit into your diet.

Almost everything can be prepped in under 5 minutes if you precook the meals beforehand. Every few days cook up a large batch of chicken breasts, sirloin steaks, eggs, turkey, etc.

Oatmeal takes 3 minutes to cook in the microwave.

Put protein powder and ground oats in a shaker bottle and carry the bottle to school. Add water to it from a water fountain in between classes.

Make a sandwich out of baked turkey breast. If you bake one of these in the oven and slice up the meat you can store it and eat it for a few days. Before school just make a couple sandwiches and bring them with you. I recommend this over deli meat usually.

Almonds and other nuts are pretty portable.

Protein powder is portable. Add to it some celery with peanut butter (Tupperware is good).

In two separate Tupperware containers you can add precooked foods: 1) 6-8oz. steak already cut up (so you won't need to bring a knife), 1 cup green beans or broccoli. 2) 6-8oz. chicken breast already cut up, 1 cup brown rice. Both of these containers can be thrown in the microwave in your cafeteria. In another container you could add some almonds. Pick up some plastic forks at Costco if your school doesn't have silverware for you to use.
