Staggered squats. One foot forward, one foot back. Drive through the heel of your front foot on the concentric. Start with no weight at all on the arm until you get the specifics of the movement down. This one's a killer (Think one legged squats). I don't know I haven't tried it before now. It just goes to show that you'll gain more out of this machine by getting away from the traditional exercises Powertec shows you how to do with it.

Hi kino that exercise sounds good. I think i will try it because with normal squats i already have to go so heavy that i have to put all my weights on the arm hehe. First i thought about doing deep squats to reduce the weight but your exercise sounds better.
Do you also have some alternative calf exercises?
My calf muscles won`t grow very good with the normal standing calf raise on the wb-ls :( . I think there is missing some kind of plate for the wb-ls to put the feet on to lower your heels to make the exercise more effective. I tried it with books and wood but that is very unsecure it will slip on the wb-ls metal plate (high risk of injury!).
Now i try donkey calf raise on the wb-ls.
I think they are working out my calfs better.

I use a 2x6 board (about 30" long). Screw a 5" long section of 2x6 board on the bottom of each end. This gives you about 4" of elevation and spans the metal plate so the board sits flat on the floor. It works great for calf raises.
