Based this off of some posts I read in other forums, in need of some touch ups.

I just finished reading cooked chicken can last 5-6 days in the fridge, but I have been unable to find how long fish can last. I would think 3 days would be fine.

Additionally, I am strongly considering cooking everything (specifically: steel-cut oats, brown rice, chicken, fish, egg whites) on Sunday, storing in freezer in tupperware, and then using the microwave appropriately throughout the week.

Of course, the freezer idea would sacrifice taste/some nutritients, but it would save SO MUCH time. Could use a few other opinions.

Thanks!

I know there are quite a few that will cook food ahead of time. I currently cook about 4-5 days worth of chicken at once, 6-8 cups of brown rice, and will usually just cook other things as needed, like my veggies and whatnot.

Defrosting food took some getting used to. Egg whites being my favorite meal, I learned I am not a fan of non-fresh egg whites. Any ideas on making defrosting them easier?
