I see you people mentioning natural peanut butter all the time, but in my country only the normal sweetened peanut butter with lots of cholesterol and saturated fat is available. Does anyone know how to make natural peanut butter that's healthy?

Organic, unsweetened peanuts and a food processor. Puree!

People add peanut oil, but no thanks... I've made it plenty of times without it.

As I've already said, peanut butter isn't popular in my country, and thus very rare and hard to find even the ordinary sweetened peanut butter, let alone the natural one. However, when I was in supermarket today, in the healthy food compartment I've found some peanut butter that's supposed to be natural (it's made in my country so you don't know the brand). It was cheap, so I bought it.
Now I am not sure if it's OK, so I'll just tell you the listed ingredients:
-peanuts
-cold dried oil (not specified which type)
-soy lecithin
-sea salt
It's also indicated that it doesn't contain any stabilisers,no cholesterol, and that the oil could separate from the peanuts. Unfortunately, no nutritional facts are shown, that's all the info there is on it (it's a brand produced in my country, nothing fancy). I've bought it and tasted it-it feels like peanuts, that's what I would call natural pb (although I've never tried that one, only the sugared one).
To many of you living in more developed countries with plenty of peanut butter brands in any store, this might seem like a silly post, but I've heard about pb's nutritional value b/c of the good fats, and high calories (a great way to boost my bulk), plus I love the taste, that's why it's kind of important to me. I need a confirmation-do you think this pb I bought is good and natural, and what would be it's approximate nutritional values (cals, carbs, fats, prots)?
Thanks in advance! :tu:;)

I haven't made peanut butter for ages (my next batch is long overdue, methinks!), but when I did, I used a mixture of monkey nuts (including their "inner shell", whatever that soft, papery layer is called), olive oil, and a little salt. It came out great - tasted as good as any commercial product, and despite the added oil it never separated at all, even after some days in the fridge without stirring.
