With my stats being shown under my name, you can tell im quite skinny. I have been thoroughly reading numerous articles on how I may SAFELY gain weight, yet I have one big question reguarding the calories...

I have measured how many calories I intake for around 3 days, without any protein shakes or anything yet. I intake roughly 3500-4000 calories and after having read many articles, would naturally bump up 500 calories to gain 1lb a week...but since my metabolism is so fast, how will I be able to tell when my caloric intake is sufficient enough to truly begin gaining weight?

Measure results. Stay at your caloric intake, and weigh once a week or two and see if you're gaining weight. If you are, great! If you aren't, you need to eat more. 3500-4000 day??? Wow, I envy those with ridiculously fast metabolisms. Hopefully, someday I can get my metabolism to be up that high. It'll take some time though...

Don't mean to be negative here...but yesterday you posted that your main concern was your workout...DLUC asked you some questions and you did not answer...today you're concerned about a new subject on a new post....I'm having a problem keeping up with you....the members might want to see what has already been advised....It would be good to work on one thing at a time...

Can you show me what those 3500-4000 calories are made up of?

Meal 1: ?
Meal 2: ?
Etc.

I'd like to see what exactly you're eating. :)
