I was wondering how many of you have done T-Dawg 2.0 (http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=243tdawg2) Diet??? I was wondering if the low carbs on this diet will cause muscle loss. It's 100g on workout days and 70g on off days. It recommends 1.5g of protein per body weight and rest from fat. I'm planning on starting this the coming up week but wanted to hear some feedbacks on it first. The last thing I'm looking for is muscle loss.

I like the T-Dawg diet personally. I have never run it to the T but I have had great success with the concept.

If you have a majority of your carbs after weight training then I dont think you would lose muscle or if you did then it would not be more than any other diet using a calorie restriction.

I've done it with decent success, as have others here. Karatetricker I know did while he ran Waterbury Summer Project (which was when I did it).

If you can do that kind of intense cutting plan while doing a medium carb diet like t-dawg, it's OK in my book (I call low carb sub 50 g/day).

I actually don't eat that many carbs anymore anyway. I rarely exceed 200 g even on workout days to this day. I've found I do better on this style of diet and I'm used to it.

I'd say I at least held onto muscle mass, if I didn't increase slightly.

I took the T-dawg diet, and added a bit of carbs (i have about 130 grams everyday) So I'm at about 45% protein, 25% Carbs and 30% fat. I've never been on a low carb diet before, but the way I set it up, it's not that bad.
