Ok, i had a look at the menu. What do you all think about Hummus? This is how it is described... I'm currently cutting BTW.

Hummus - A WELL-KNOWN MIDDLE EASTERN SPREAD MADE FROM CHICK PEAS, TAHINI, GARLIC, AND LEMON JUICE. SERVED WITH GRILLED PITA, SLICES OF CRISP CUCUMBER. AND FRESH TOMATOES

and this...

Thai Chicken Pasta - A WONDERFUL MEDLEY OF BROCCOLI, DICED CHICKEN BREAST, RED PEPPERS AND BASIL IN A THAI COCONUT CURRY SAUCE TOSSED WITH FETTUCCINE.

I would skip the pasta portion, but the Coconut Curry sauce makes me think it's a No No, just want that though verifiied, because it does sound good.

and there's this...

Southwest Chicken Farfalle - BOWTIE PASTA COVERED WITH OUR SPICY CHIPOTLE PEPPER MARINARA, FIERY STRIPS OF CHICKEN, AND DICED PEPPERS.

The chicked is chicken breast, i checked.

other than that it's the typical steaks. I don't know steaks so any suggestions for that as well?

Thanks for any help!

Good decisions for eating out. If you're worried about it, make it your cheat meal.

I concur with Hoss.

I've worked in many restaurants -- There will be many, many hidden fats and carbs in anything you order unless it's a specialty health-food restaurant.

Don't antagonize the chef and waitstaff. Make this your cheat meal, and order whatever you want from the menu. It's a meal out -- enjoy it!!

Hell, have a steak if it's lean (NY Strip is a pretty decent choice -- no prime rib for you, though). Just don't let them slather hollandaise sauce on it and the broccoli side dish.

Hummus is good stuff. Chick peas are really good for you. But I concur with the rest. Make it cheat meal. I had one tonight at Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant. Enjoy bro!

Thanks for the replies all! I ended up grabbing the Hummus and Grilled Mahi Mahi. Overall I feel satisfied, and it was delicious. The great news is that I still weight the same! Woo!:eat:
