The change in the face of people who slim down from being really overweight always amazes me. A whole new person is emerging.

I'm probably going get dumped on for being not PC, but to me, pre-transformation, all really obese people look alike: characterless -- guys in particular because they usually all seem to have buzz cuts.

Post-transformation, Wow! You see character. It's not that they had no character, but character is expressed through, well, facial expressions created by subtle changes in musculature that's hidden literally behind a mask of fat.

A lot of people on this site, and "Biggest Loser"-- I'd be hard pressed to match up the before and after shots. Even The Man himself-- John Stone.

I see so many unhealthy people making the dumbest decisions to improve their appearance. "I'm 100lbs overweight... hmmm... think I'll go blonde... I'm missing two front teeth... I know! Instead of seeing a dentist, I think I'll get my tounge pierced!"

A healthy lifestyle is the best cosmetic of all.
