Optimum nutrition is decent. It gets the job done and is definitely better then some of the other products on the market in the same price group (with a gold card from GNC it's about $16).
I'm currently using the gold standard from ON (chocolate). The stuff tastes like crap. The only way it's decent is with milk (which I don't drink much of). So, I have to hold my breath and plunge in.
I've heard nothing but good things about Nitrean & luckily I am almost out of ON, because Nitrean is up next!
Get whatever you want, though. If you don't want to pay the extra for Nitrean, then go with ON. (I'd suggest something other than chocolate).

I actually like it. I got the extreme chocolate milk.
