I recently bought some BCAAs (http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133691&cp&origkw=branched+chain&kw=branched+chain&parentPage=search)from GNC. The container says to take them when on an empty stomach(when you get up, in between meals, or when you are about to go to bed) I was wondering it it mattered if i took them while eating, and I thought they were better to take PWO. Any comments or advice will be appreciated.

Wow, a GNC label I actually agree with!
Pre/during/post workout would be the best time IMO, but other than that I would say:
-Upon waking up
-In between meals
-Before going to bed
-Middle of the night wake-ups
You should be getting some AA's via the foods and protein powders, so using the BCAA supplement in between meals would be better. The old-schoolers would call this "nitrogen bathing." :)
However, I don't feel this is as effective unless you've reached a certain level. JMO, but I would not spend this kind of time and money unless you've already 1) been training for a few years, and 2) gotten your bodyfat pretty low.

Agree on all counts.
Plus, milk is full of BCAAs. Just sayin'.
