Hello...Question at bottom of Post :P


Basic Info About me:

Sex: Male
Age: 20
Height: 6ft 2"
Weight: 11.5 Stone (161 pound)

Works Nightshift 10pm - 6am (Mon - Fri)
Sleeps alot (8 - 12 hours aday)
Eats 1 - 2 meals aday
Rarely drinks water
Partys every sat with friends and get drunk!

Equipment i have:

Boxing Bag/Gloves
Weights Bench

-------------------------------

All i want to accomplish is to gain more weight and muscle because i can see some of my ribs on my chest, lol. Some of my friends tell me i need to eat more cause im thin.

Can anyone help me?

Your friends are right. If you really want to gain more weight and muscle, you simply need to eat more, and train consistently. The sacrifices are up to you to make. We can give you advice, and help you along the way, but it will be up to you to decide what is more important to you.


Eats 1 - 2 meals aday
Rarely drinks water

I would say that you'll be hardpressed in putting on muscle if you keep this up.

If not, I think you know some steps in the right direction, no? If you're serious about getting healthy, this is a good community to find encouragement.

Do what you know is good, and when you're stuck, we can help you with further direction, but if you're not interested in doing what you know, we probably won't waste our time.

If you're sticking to a training routine, then 5-6. Roughly spaced out at 3 hours apart.


- Is water really recomended because i dont really like it.

What do you think? Water will be your friend; get used to it. Add some lemon to it.

How about diluted Orange Juice? :)

A good start. If you're more likely to drink it than water, that's great. In fact, maybe you could slowly work your way to water by diluting it more and more, slowly over time.

When I first started, I didn't like water either. At one point, my fat loss stopped and only started again when I finally gave in to drinking lots of water. Now, I love it. Start slow and work your way toward 1 gallon/day.

Crystal Light is my friend re: water intake.

I usually mix it at half strength for the lemonade--one of those tubs that makes two quarts, I use that in one gallon.

It's lemony enough and has no sugar. It is how I drink a gallon of fluid a day. :)
