I got this chicken rub from Alton Brown (I'm a huge Good Eats fan), and I thought I would share because I love it so much. If anyone else has any rubs that they enjoy, please share!

2 tbsp kosher salt
2 tbsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Put it all together in one of the parmesan cheese shakers (you can get one from Kohl's for $2). When not using, seal the top by removing the top and placing a piece of wax paper on top and then twist the top back on allowing the wax paper to seal. I think that this marks the most times I've used top in a sentence.

I REALLY want to try his box fan jerky method soon.

BTW, that rub reminds me of one I've used before out of Cooks' Illustrated.

I don't watch America's Test Kitchen, but I read my sister's Cook's Illustrated magazines, and steal the old issues sometimes when she buys the bound annual issues.
