Just presenting the flip side... so, if fasted works for you, don't read further I guess, and no need to defend your position :)
Now the good stuff:
If you take the time to go through the papers presented in this thread and read the thread itself, there are some very good arguments presented:

Alan Aragons take on fasted cardio:

Even T-Nation has unfasted supporters along with the fasted group:

Another good discussion on cardio, carbs and timing (lots of good stuff in here):

Personal Thoughts:
Boring
Doesn't feel like much is getting done
Tend to go hypo on fasted exercise (which is bad bad bad).
I've done both ways and for my body type ecto-meso, I've had as good results doing consistent 20 min fed cardio as opposed to doing fasted 40-45 min cardio.
My biggest weight loss came from fed, 1 hour morning and 1 hour evening walks when I made my biggest change (my diet was pretty spot on, or, at least I thought so LOL ).
Many ways to skin a cat.
My point is, if you don't enjoy fasted morning cardio, don't think all hope is lost if you actually prefer doing something else. Regulating your diet and being consistent in whatever fitness you choose is MORE important than the minor differences achieved in cardio techniques.
If it isn't fun, you'll quit.
cheers,
Gord
