View Full Version : Body Type
msf Sun, November 12th, 2006, 01:58 AM Hey Im just wondering what you guys think of my body frame. I have a hard time judging myself as to what I am, and even after losing 70 lbs my friends really cant tell that big of a difference. I mean the ones i see everyday obviously dont notice that much but some that I see once in a while say I just look like a twig. I dont know, I feel/think that I am still overweight. Would you say I have an average frame or what? Thanks for the replies
(Im not trying to sound rude or arrogant, I honestly just want a 3rd party note. I dont think Im ripped or perfect or anything, just want some constructive criticsm. I lift heavy and often now so Im adding more muscle mass)

DeafNgari Sun, November 12th, 2006, 04:15 AM It is really hard to tell what kind of frame you have, and to be honest, I am not really sure what type of response you are wanting to that question. You appear to be what I would call skinny. Pictures like that are very difficult to tell much from. I would say some bulking would do your body good:nod:

dluc Sun, November 12th, 2006, 01:04 PM I'd agree with the post above. It's hard to tell with the pictures posted, but you look skinny with a regular frame (but again this may just be due to the picture angles, clothing, ...). Lacking further information, I would recommend a bulk.
SwoleCat Sun, November 12th, 2006, 03:17 PM Can't comment with anything other than "skinny" being that you are fully clothed in all your pics.
For physique critique, it's usually best to wear shorts and that's it.

Timbermiko Sun, November 12th, 2006, 03:49 PM What's your wrist measurement?
From what you have shown you could be ecto-meso as a dominant.
msf Sun, November 12th, 2006, 06:45 PM My wrist measurement is about 7-8 inches. What is ecto-meso as a dominant? Does that mean small bones less mass or something?
My stats now are 6'3 200 pounds, and I am 20 years old. Do HIIT on the elliptical about 6/7 days, sometimes double up on days. Going to start running again because my achilles tendon is recovered so that will be about every other day a ncie 3-5 mile run. I lift for 3 days then break, my splits are chest/leg/core. shoulders and back, bis and tris.
Also, the reason these pictures are clothed is because I want to hear from people I dont know what they would say my body type is. Next weekend I will post pictures in shorts because I dont have my own camera here at school. Plus, itd just be kind of weird using my roommates cameras to take half naked pics of myself...haha.

That was my point brutha, it's hard to tell a bodytype with clothes on. It's like guessing what kind of car is under a car cover. :)

Reno_1ted Mon, November 13th, 2006, 09:27 AM Good work on losing the weight !
To me, you look normal, certainly not overweight and not underweight.
Where you are now, you have completed the massive weightloss and it is just perfecting and fine tuning from here on in. Whether or not you need to cut a few lbs to get ripped or put on a few lbs of muscle first is too hard to say based on clothed photos.
Well done again. :)
