So what is Carbo Gain? I know it's Malto Dextrin...but is that a refined processed food? As I'm finishing up my 'all supplements for the month of October' nutritional month, I realized all my carbs come from Carbo Gain.
Then I realized I wasn't sure if it was considered processed or not...

Can I claim that I ate clean for October if Malto is in every PWO? How about Dextrose? Is this how this stuff comes out of the ground? (Venuto rule on clean eating)

Here was my month by the way...almost done

Maltodextrin is processed corn sugar. It's commonly used to spike insulin PWO. People usually mean "clean" by not eating "crap" like fries, pizza, etc. Maltodextrin is "clean" in that sense.

Ahh. From now on I'll say I eat "clean, but not all natural." I'm big on proper labeling and compartmentation. :tu:

ALL your carbs come from maltodextrin?

If that's true then you really need to reevaluate your diet, bro. Maltodextrin is a good PWO carbohydrate source, but it is devoid of nutritional value. It is most definitely not something that is appropriate as a primary carbohydrate source in your diet. That should be reserved for vegetables, grains (like oats, brown rice), and fruit.
