All I got to say is wow! I liked it compared to the older version that I saw many, many years ago. Well, so long ago that I can barely remember it. Great movie IMHO!! :tu: I couldn't keep my eyes off of Jessica Biehl cause she's hot! I have to admit that the "evidence clips" shown in the movie are REALLY convincing. And, to those who haven't seen the movie/DVD I won't go into detail, but the very end when the two investigating deputies are going into the Hewitt basement and then got that lil surprise just FREAKED me out..lol! Every hair on the back of my neck just stood up. The ending was kinda like the original "Blair Witch Project". I thought the movie was well laid out and portrays realism. Oh, I can't forget to mention Sherriff Hoyt..lmao. The actor that plays him is just hilarious with that kind of drill seargant attitude. If you watched Full Metal Jacket then you'll know who/what I'm talking about. Best quote in the movie is, "You're so dead you don't even know it!"

I absolutely hated the remake. I'd suggest renting the original to refresh your memory. I feel it was a much better film.

Out of curiosity, what made you hate it so much? I can't believe that anyone could hate this movie, man. I absolutely loved it!:) Also loved Gothika with Halle Berry and Cold Creek Manor with Randy Quaid. I have been liking horror films lately for some reason.:p :D

I absolutely hated the original and loved the remake ;) I specifically hated the original because that damn hysterical woman just couldn't stop screaming for the last 45 minutes... In the new one she knows how to keep quiet so you can actually concentrate on what's going on.

Besides, I thought it was better than most horror movies coming out these days... It actually had an interesting plot and a genuinely creepy feeling throughout the whole movie. :tu: :tu:
