I bought two bottles of lipo-6 in the summer, they are the liquid caps and the label says ephedra free on the front. the capsules are gray and blue. the ingredient list is:

citrus aurantium 200mg
caffeine anhydrous usp 200mg
yohimbine hcl 5mg
coleus forskohlii 100mg
carnitrex 100mg
bioperine 5mg

the 2 bottles i just ordered are all white caps and in the place on the label where it says ephedra free on the first two bottles it says liqui-cap delivery, the ingredients in these bottles are:

synephrine hcl 20mg
synthetic 99% guggulsterones Z&E 1:1 20mg
yohimbine HCL 3mg
caffeine anhydrous USP 200mg
bioperine 5mg

I was thinking maybe the second pair were older but the expiration date is later so im figuring that's not it. does anyone know what the deal is with these changes?

The key ingredient difference is the synephrine. It's chemically similar to Ephedra/Ephedrine, and has some of the same SNS effects (but not CNS effects). So, supposed to be "safer" than ephedra, but still give some of the benefits, without the jitters. No studies that I can find on synephrine, so grain of salt. With caffeine, it triggers the thermogenesis. Without the synephrine, they are basically fancy caffeine pills.
