This thread is for me and my best friend Andre. Him and I are going toe to toe in our own 100 challenge. Anyone is welcomed to join. However, our 100 is a little different. We will be comparing scores every 2 weeks as opposed to every month. The shorter time frame motivates me more and is the reason for my decision.

:tu:

Andre I hope you are Ready because I am going to kick your ASS!!!

But just remember I love ya !!!!:jumping: :gl:

I did well today. Actually had 2 south beach diet bars for breakfast (normally don't eat breakfast), then had a hearty lunch consisting of different salads, a bowl of clam chowder soup and a brownie for my sweet tooth. Had a great work out 30 mins of cardio plus 10 min of warm up and 10 mins of cool down. Hit the weights. Had a helping of beef jerky and another 2 south beach diet bars for dinner. As they say on the golf course after a good shot, "Chase That!!"

Well Andre, great pre first day. You trying to get a head start on my before we start tomorrow. I am in the process of cooking my last slightly unhealthy meal and I will workout today as well, however, point tracking starts tomorrow. Thanks for joining with me Andre and even though you have more will power than me and I wish you the best I am going to kick your firm ass

LOL
:neener:

Andre, we will also need to be posting our weigh ins on here weekly along with point deductions daily. I will post how much I have lost every week and if there is a week with no loss for us (seen as how we are both trying to lose weight) we will have to deduct a point.

Well, first of all, thank you for saying that I have a FIRM ASS. Second, I don't have a scale. Does that mean I need to go buy one? You know how much I hate shopping. LOL.

Time for my daily report. Well, for breakfast I had a couple of breakfast burritos (since someone told me that 2 south beach diet bars don't constitute breakfast). For lunch, it was a cajun chicken breast sandwich and veggies. I did cardio on the elyptical (10 min warm up, 30 min vigorous workout, 10 min cool down) and then push ups and sit ups. Dinner was a hamburger patty, a chicken breast, various raw veggies and this time no desert. Woohoo. I will let Jennifer decide if I lose any points today or not. I bought a scale and will weigh myself in the morning. It is the kind that calculates body fat too. I will post both tomorrow so that I will have a benchmark to start from. I hope you had a successful day today Jennifer. Can't wait to find out.

Well, today was actually a great first day. I did fasted cardio and threw in some ball squats, push ups, and sit ups. It felt great. Woke up late so I missed breakfast (-1 point). I had a healthy lunch and brought a sandwich and granola bar to work for dinner. I am already sore from the workout today!! I just hope you are ready ANDRE because YOUR GOING TO LOSE!!!!! :nono: So thats a 99 for me at the end of day one. I plan on doing fasted cardio as much as possible except for Tuesdays and Thursdays (I think).

It was brought to my attention that I didn't display my point total after yesterday. It's still 100. I did take my weight and body fat % this morning. My weight was no surprise but my body fat shocked me. So here goes. Weight = 251.2 Body Fat = 29%. I guess I really need to watch my carb/calorie intake and do some targeted cardio. Jennifer, I'm glad you had a good first day. I hope I can sustain going toe to toe with you. And while I'm thinking about it, HAPPY SWEETEST DAY!!!

Daily report time. Well, i didn't eat breakfast this morning because i worked out earlier than normal so i get -1 there. My workout consisted of elyptical for 30 mins (my knee started acting up so I stopped early) and weights. For lunch I had a peanut butter sandwich and some beef jerky. For dinner I had a seafood sub from subway and a south beach diet bar. I am ending the day at 99 points.

Well, today was a good day. Still sore (it even hurts when I laugh). Did fasted cardio and by the time I was done it was already lunch time (-1 no breakfast). Ate a healthy lunch and packed a sandwich and healthy granola bar for dinner. Just getting off work tonight and I am exhausted. Glad to see you are doing well Andre. However, those breakfast burritos from McDonalds (might as well have a Big Mac (heehee)) I need to weigh myself and take my measurements but I am scared of the scale right now. I already feel skinnier (LOL). Your going down ANDRE!!!!!
Oh yea and I think I will stick with the same quote: "IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT, THEN CHANGE IT!!!!!":neener:

OK. Time for my daily report. I had a soccer game today at 10:30 AM (we lost 1-0 in case you were wondering. they scored on a great shot that went just past my outstretched fingertips) so my breakfast consisted of 2 south beach diet bars. After the game I did some push ups and situps. For lunch, I had shrimp stiry fry w/veggies. For dinner, I had a terriyaki chicken sandwich and veggies with a south beach diet bar for dessert. I will deduct -1 for the lack of substantial breakfast. So my ending point total today is 98. I think this puts you ahead Jennifer. It's not over yet though. Hope you did well today.

 Well today started off not so good, although I did eat breakfast. I was just so exhausted because I have not slept well for the last 2 nights but it will be ok. I went to work ate a couple granola bars for lunch and went home and had a nice cardio workout and just a few sit ups and push ups (seeing as how sore I still was). I also went to the library and studied and worked up a ridiculous appetite and lost my cool and ate Applebee's (-1). My point total is 97 at the end of day 3. Even though I had an unscheduled cheat meal I still feel great because I am working out again and even did extra cardio after I cheated. I am actually not mad at myself (yippee)!!! I cannot wait for tomorrow because I know it will be a successful day. Andre I wish you the best of luck but YOUR GONNA LOSE!!!! :neener:

It's ok Jennifer. Eat all the cheat meals you want. I'll watch your figure. ;)

And now for my daily report. No breakfast (-1). No excuse for that. Lunch was a chef's salad and a cup of cheese soup. Didn't play softball tonight but did sit ups and push ups. Dinner was an italian sub (-1). I'll take a point off for that cuz it was kind of greasy and unhealthy. So that puts me at 96. I guess I suck at this. Oh well, I feel good. My clothes are big on me and my diabetes is under control. I am sure you kicked my butt today Jennifer. Kudos to you.

Well, I ate a nice breakfast and lunch and went to the library for way too long and missed my workout (due to my not feeling good and test coming up) and I also ate an unhealthy dinner but stopped before I over did it (-1). Today was a tough one for me. I started off the day extremely tired because of not sleeping well due to this cold and my body being in the proces of adapting to a workout schedule as well. I hope tomorrow I feel better when I wake up because today I just did not have the juice I normally due and thats depressing. :nope:

So my point total at the end of day 4 is 95.

I promise to try harder tomorrow, hopefully I will feel better.

Time for my daily report. Today was a good day. I missed breakfast (-1), however, it was because I was on the phone with a potential employer and trying to get my reference list done and called and sent before I had to meet my peeps for lunch. Lunch was fish and veggies. mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm. My workout consisted of weights, weights and weights. I attempted 30 mins on the elyptical, however, my knee started acting up again so I only got 15 mins. I need to get my knee checked I think. Dinner was a small serving of hot and sour soup, 1 eggroll and a small portion of chicken brocoli. mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm. I end the day today with a 95. Looks like I am averaging -1 per day. Ugh. It's ok though. I know you are not feeling well Jennifer. You do not have to deduct any points until you feel better if you so choose. I hope you feel better.

Time for my daily report. Today was an ok day. I had to skip breakfast because I had to take some blood tests (-1). For lunch I had a cup of brocoli cheese soup, chicken breast topped with artichoke, mushrooms and parm. cheese and steamed brocoli. Dinner consisted of some peanuts, beef jerky and a south beach diet bar. I had to eat kind of light because I had a late softball game. (-1). That puts me at 93.

Time again for my daily report. Today was a good day overall. I missed breakfast again. I got too busy and forgot to eat. No excuses -1. Lunch was a turkey plate with beans and slaw. Worked out with weights and cardio. Dinner was a side salad, a gyro and fries. So another -1 for the fries. I also had an apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. Yet another -1 for that. So my total after today is 90.

My daily report. I skipped breakfast (-1) this morning because I slept in and then I worked out. I did cardio and weights. For lunch I had a hamburger and fries. I am not going to deduct a point for this one because I was hungry and was having a low so I had to eat something quickly to bring my sugar back up. For dinner I went to a halloween party so you can imagine the junk I ate. I didn't over eat. There just wasn't anything healthy to eat (-1). So I end the day at 86 with one more week to go. I know you haven't been feeling well Jennifer and I hope you feel better soon.

Time for my daily report. I had a light breakfast because I had a soccer game. I missed lunch because of my soccer game (-1), which we lost 4-1 but I got peppered with shots. I must have had 20 saves. That many shots and they only got 4 (1 was on a penalty kick). For dinner I had a steak burrito, it was a big burrito. I also did sit ups and push ups. I end the day at 85.

My daily report. A light breakfast today because I was up and at em early. For lunch I had sushi (yummmy). A light dinner because I had softball tonight. I did not do sit ups and push ups tonight because I jammed my shoulder into the ground diving for a fly ball. Which sucks because I didn't even make the catch (-1). That finishes the day for me at 83.
