Kinda nasty in the morning! pr22 Wed, October 18th, 2006, 09:40 PM Most of the cheaper ones I bought did, but this one I bought at wal-mart by Spring Valley Fish Oil (1000mg) doesn't even smell like fish oil when I smell the bottle when it's open. I couldn't even get my nose near other bottles before that stench raped my nose. I don't have fish burps with this one, though I didn't really have too much of a problem with the fish burps when I started drinking a lot of water and taking it with food. I haven't noticed a price difference either. Just give it time, your body will get used to it, and make sure to take it with food and down a glass of water with it. Hort Wed, October 18th, 2006, 11:12 PM I'm not really sure "cheaper" is a deciding factor. I've had some of the more expensive that were bad for burps but the cheap fish oil from ON has never been a problem nor have the Super Omega 3-6-9's. :read: needachange Thu, October 19th, 2006, 12:05 AM wal-mart by Spring Valley Fish Oil (1000mg). +1 this is the one I take and have no problems with it at all. MannishBoy Thu, October 19th, 2006, 12:10 AM Make sure you buy the enteric coated version. This keeps it from digesting in the stomach so it moves on into the intestines where it can be absorbed at a higher rate. It also cuts out the fish burps. green&white Thu, October 19th, 2006, 11:51 AM Thanks for the replies!:tu: Gordo Thu, October 19th, 2006, 11:56 AM How many are you taking at once? Spread them out over the day in smaller quantities. That will help. |
