My plan is to buy an external HD and just use it as a dedicated family media storage device. A HUGE resource with tons of help and advice here. Authoring, editing, burning, ripping articles, tools and advice. Good stuff. Lot's of help and information of available 'free' open source programs. Advanced info can get pretty technical.
