I think I might be doing HIIT on T/TR/SAT

Now, the gym is like 5-6 miles away, and HIIT should take no more than 23-25 minutes is what I hear. Is there any other exercises I can do at the gym to maximzie the time I spend there, either before/after my HIIT session? Also, I what's a good POST HIIT meal (after 1 hr of course)... something high in protein/carbs/fats/?????

I assume this is your off day? If so some dymanic stretching prior to your session would be a good idea and probably some static stretching afterwards.

If your new to HIIT i'd suggest no more then 20min. One simple protocol from one of my books is a 5min warmup and cooldown(walk) along with 3 rounds of, 1min at high intensity(sprint) and 2min at moderate intensity(jog). Add another round after you build up your fitness level. By the time you want to add another one you should be well on your way. :)

btw you can do hiit on the road, you don't need a gym. :D
